It opens with a one-paragraph tear sheet and a buy, sell or hold recommendation, then compares the company's returns with the market and gives a risk-adjusted return, plus company-specific and market news.
The valuation is a multistage dividend discount model using CAPM, supported by price multiples and dividend yield and shown on a security market line. We build the model in a spreadsheet and write the discussion that compares the methods.
