Research Paper and Journal Publication Support in Nepal

A thesis is not a journal article. A 100-page thesis has to become a 6,000-word paper with one clear contribution, a literature review a fifth of the length, and a methods section a reviewer can check in minutes. Most first submissions are rejected because that conversion was not done, not because the research was weak.

Assignment Nepal supports master's, MPhil and PhD researchers and faculty members with the publication process: turning a thesis or project into a manuscript, choosing a suitable journal, formatting to its author guidelines, and responding to reviewers point by point.

We do not promise acceptance, and we do not work with journals that guarantee it. Peer review decides publication, and a journal that skips it is not worth publishing in.

What we help with

Plagiarism and AI reports, issued with the work

Similarity and AI writing indicator reports come with every delivery, and we run them on work you wrote yourself too. You get the reports and the explanation, never a bare figure.

We are an independent academic support service, not a university and not a reseller of any detection platform. We run checks and issue the resulting reports; we do not sell access to a detection tool, and we do not sell a way around one.

Not sure if your work has plagiarism? Don't worry. Send it to us.

Tell us what you need checked and when it is due. Your document is checked without being stored in any student-paper repository, so the check never counts against your real submission. The reports come back with what each match means, not just a percentage.

Turning a thesis into a paper

Start by choosing one finding. A thesis answers several research questions; a paper should make one contribution clearly. The literature review shrinks to the studies needed to show the gap. The methods section keeps everything a reviewer needs to judge validity (sample, instrument, reliability, analysis) and drops the textbook definitions. The discussion compares your result with specific prior studies, not with the literature in general.

The abstract and title get written last, and they matter most: editors decide whether to send a paper for review largely from those two. A title that states the finding, and an abstract with a number in it, is read more favourably than one that only names the topic.

Choosing where to submit

Read the journal's recent issues before submitting. If it has not published anything with your method or on your region in two years, it is probably the wrong journal, whatever its scope statement says. Check the acceptance rate and review time if they are published, and any article processing charge, before you invest time in formatting.

For early-career researchers in Nepal, a reputable national journal on NepJOL is often a better first target than an international journal outside your field. A rejection after six months of review costs more than a solid publication in a journal your examiners and employers will recognise.

Responding to reviewers

A major-revisions decision is good news. It means the editor wants the paper if you address the comments. The response letter should copy each comment, answer it directly, and give the page and line of the change. Where you disagree, say so politely and give the evidence. Reviewers accept a reasoned disagreement more often than an ignored comment.

Frequently asked questions

Can you guarantee my paper will be accepted?

No. Acceptance is decided by the journal's editors and reviewers. We make the manuscript as strong and as well-matched to the journal as it can be. Be wary of anyone who guarantees publication, because the journals that accept everything are the ones that damage your record.

How do I avoid a predatory journal?

Check that the journal's indexing claims are true by searching DOAJ, Scopus or Web of Science yourself; that it has a real editorial board with verifiable affiliations; that it describes its peer review; and that it does not promise publication within days. We check these for every journal we suggest.

Can you add my name to a paper or write one from no research?

No. We work only on research you carried out, with data you collected. We do not sell authorship, fabricate data or write papers about studies that did not happen.

Do you help publish in Nepali journals?

Yes. Many Nepali journals are hosted on NepJOL and have their own author guidelines and review timelines. We format to those as carefully as to international journals.

A reviewer asked for major revisions. Can you help?

Yes. Send the decision letter and your manuscript. We draft a response that answers every comment, politely disagrees where you have good reason, and points to the exact changes in the revised paper.

Is your service confidential?

100%. Your identity and academic work stay completely private and are never shared with your college or anyone else. We use secure, encrypted communication.
